    3. Assignment for next week: Building a web site. Using the analysis of either Seton Hall or company web site, present a detailed and diagrammatic plan for redeveloping it.

      2. Use diagrams from Chapter 11 of Integrating Corporate Communications.
      3. Identify essential employee, customer and vendor information. Include analysis of competitive site information.
      4. Rank content.
        1. What are critical elements that you must have to encourage use?
        2. What can be deferred?
        3. What content will prompt immediate use of the site and how will you present it?
        4. Diagram site structure, content pages, databases.
          1. Show how Web site will flow from the home page to sub-pages.
          2. Specify sub-pages in terms of content.
          3. Specify major design elements in the home and sub-pages.
          4. Specify colors, typefaces and graphic elements on the home page.
          5. Specify links on the home page.
          6. Write home page copy.
          7. Keep a copy of your plan for further development and turn in a copy for grading.
