Jim Horton developed and maintains www.online-pr.com  to help public relations and marketing professionals serve clients better, faster and less expensively.

He is a principal at Robert Marston And Associates where he serves clients in corporate communications and Internet/online public relations. He has crossed between high-tech and corporate/financial relations for his 25+-year career, and he has been an educator in both fields.

He was an early proponent of applying personal computers to public relations and has written on the use of technology and the Internet for better, faster and less-expensive client service. He has developed data and knowledge bases to support public relations activities and analytical techniques to enhance client service.

Jim is the author of two books, (Integrated Corporate Communications: The Cost-Effective Use of Message and Medium, Quorum Publishing, 1995) and Online Public Relations: A Handbook for Practitioners, Quorum Publishing, 2001. 

Jim has an M.A. in English Literature from UCLA; an MA (with honors) from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
